You have the right to delete your Eleva account and your associated personal data at any time. This page explains exactly how to do it, what gets deleted, and what is retained for legal reasons.
Method 1 โ Delete In-App (Instant)
๐ฑFrom within the Eleva App
- Open the Eleva App and sign in;
- Tap your Profile icon (bottom right);
- Tap the Settings icon (top right);
- Scroll to Account โ tap "Delete Account";
- Enter your password to confirm your identity;
- Tap "Confirm Delete".
Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately. Public content will be removed within 24 hours. Complete data deletion will be completed within 90 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Method 2 โ Request by Email

If you are unable to access the App, or if you wish to submit a formal data deletion request, email us at:

- Your Eleva username;
- The email address registered to your account;
- A brief statement that you wish to delete your account and data.
We may verify your identity before processing the request. We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What We Are Required to Keep
- Transaction records โ kept for 7 years (UK tax law, HMRC requirements);
- KYC/identity verification records โ kept for 5 years after last transaction (Anti-Money Laundering Regulations);
- Regulatory correspondence and legal holds โ kept for duration required by applicable authority;
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics โ retained indefinitely (contains no personal data).
Retained data is stored securely and is not used for any marketing or commercial purpose.
Your Rights
In addition to account deletion, under GDPR and applicable law you may also request:
- A copy of all personal data we hold about you (Right of Access);
- Correction of inaccurate data (Right to Rectification);
- Restriction of processing while a dispute is resolved (Right to Restrict);
- A portable copy of your data in machine-readable format (Right to Portability).
